Booting on a USB key, the Gdium Liberty 1000 runs Mandriva
G-Linux, a Gnu/Linux edition optimized for MIPS processors with a simplified human interface, and an online/offline integration framework.
We invite Developers, Contributors, Human Interface Designers, Graphical Artists, Sound Designers, Project Leaders, Translators, Hardware tinkerer and in general any Free Software Minded Innovators to join the “One Laptop Per Hacker” program (OLPH).
Be among the first to get your hands on a Gdium Liberty 1000 at a low cost, early access price.
Share knowledge and get fast access to the Core Gdium Developer Team, and the members of the Gdium Foundation.
You can join the “OLPH” program either as a “friend”, in which case you will get free access to the Gdium.com website, to the Gdium bug tracker, feature forum, newsletter, …
Or you can submit a project and, if selected and after approval of the "OLPH" charter, you will be able to acquire for 250€ (VAT included) an “early release, signed edition” of the Gdium Liberty 1000 with two G-keys, one loaded with the standard environment, and one loaded with the full developer kit.

Bootable à partir d'une clé USB qui embarque applications, espace de stockage et OS amovible, le Liberty 1000 utilise MandrivaG-Linux, un environnement Gnu/Linux optimisé pour les processeurs MIPS, avec une interface simplifiée et intuitive ainsi qu'un environnement intégré "local/en ligne".
EMTEC invite les développeurs, contributeurs, développeurs d'interfaces humaines, artistes graphiques et sonores, traducteurs, gestionnaires de projets, "moddeurs", et en général toute personne créative passionnée par les environnements libres, à rejoindre le programme "One Laptop Per Hacker"(OLPH).
Soyez parmi les premiers à recevoir un Gdium à un prix "développeur".

Ou alors vous pouvez nous soumettre un projet et, si vous êtes sélectionné et si vous adhérez à la charte "OLPH", vous pouvez acheter pour 250€ (TTC) un exemplaire "early release, signed edition" du Liberty 1000, ainsi que deux G-Key, l'une chargée avec l'environnement standard du Gdium, et l'autre avec l'environnement complet de développement.
