All users have got a personal space where they can blog, organize their publications, invite friends, manage events, and share.
Users can have a 360° view on what's happening in their network, or around their content, or throughout the site.
Users can create groups. These groups are collaborative spacewhere a mini community can interact among their members. A group can be public or private, open to all or upon invitation, it can hold a group blog, a mini-forum, pages, messages, shared agenda... In short everything you need to create a collaborative, mini-site.
Are you a teacher or a member of the education community?
Not only you have access to all the services described above but also you can use them in a dedicated environement fit for your needs. As soon as you register as a teacher, a professor or a edu community member, you can create your own virtual school where you create your classrooms
by using the collaborative group structure we provide. These groups let teachers and their students:
- exchange through forums, comments, blogs, internal messages
- manage a shared agenda
- organise assignments to fulfill
- create content collaboratively, and specifically publish full curriculums
- publish a classroom blog
- etc.
Users will have access to a range of educational resources, coming from various sources, e.g. selected and recognized publishing partners, or other users' contributions, as to create their own pedagogical resources.
The WYSIWYG text editor lets you upload images and very easily embed online videos (Youtube, Dailymotion, etc.), create links
among internal pages or to web pages, attach documents.
As owner of a group you may decide to make that group fully collaborative, i.e. any document created within the group can be edited by any group member, in a Wiki-like manner.
This lets you and your colleagues work collaboratively on a document. As a teacher you may ask your students to work on a specific topic together and produce a collaborative document.
