Real web display: Gdium includes a 10-inch LCD screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution, fit for surfing the web without horizontal scrolling. Gdium will come with an intuitive, user-friendly and elegant design, with an expert mode for advanced users.

Optimal form factor: Gdium is equipped with an extended keyboard, whose dimension makes it comfortable to work long hours. Gdium weighs about 1,2kg.

100 % flexible, secured and personal: without hard drive, Gdium^® is powered up when the G-Key is locked in. The G-Key contains the operating system, a Linux distribution by Mandriva, G-Linux, the applications and the personal data. One Gdium, one G-Key. Each user owns its G-Key and may plug it in any Gdium. The user will then retrieve its personal environment, without leaving any traces on the foreign computer.

Extensible storage capacity: 8 to 16GB Flash on the G-Key, up to 32GB using a SDHC card or another USB extension.

Suite of open-source applications on the G-Key: Linux, Open Office, Firefox, ThunderBird, ClamAv, Spam Assassin, The Gimp, Scribus etc., along with a selection of educational applications to be used in conjunction with the web portal and application deployed on Gdium.com.
