French Television came to see us!
9 July 2008 – 19:04 by LeelooFrench Television journalists from Capital (M6) were interested in Mandriva Linux integration on ultra portable netbooks. As a main partner of this French GNU/Linux distribution, we were present for the filming part and our CEO was interviewed about his strategic choices (ie why Linux, why MIPS, why Gdium, what the heck is Gayaplex ?). All the questions you would love to hear answers about.
Don’t worry, we will soon write more articles about these important decisions we made. But as for now, enjoy the pictures taken in Mandriva’s office last week:
Journalists from Capital listening to Damien Lallement, on the left
Vanessa Wall, Mandriva Communication Manager, on the right corner
François Bancilhon, CEO of Mandriva, and Sassan Shaffiee, CEO of Dexxon Data Media, goofing around with the pink Gdium. Patrick Ferran, our Gayaplex Manager in the middle, quietly looks at them.
Meeting between the teams from both companies

Something’s got to be done about that name “Gayaplex” ;o)
Congratulations to both Gdium and Mandriva. It’s great to see this kind of exposure for both projects / companies.
